Join Us In 52 Weeks Of Prayer
Each week during our prayer time we will highlight a specific group in our community (local law enforcement, schools, hospitals, military, government leaders, foster care/DCS, farmers, missionaries, etc.) as is an intentional way for our congregation to remain prayerful, outwardly focused, and unified as we intercede for our community and beyond.
This week in our 52-Week Prayer Focus, we are lifting up one of the missionaries and mission organizations we support. We are grateful for the ways God is working not just in our community, but around the world—through people and ministries faithfully serving in His name.
This week, we are praying for Fortville Police Department and the McCordsville Police Department.
The Fortville Police Department is led by Chief Patrick Bratton, and the McCordsville Police Department is led by Chief Paul Casey. These officers and their families carry significant responsibilities every day. They are often called into difficult situations, make critical decisions under pressure, and work long hours to keep our communities safe.
As followers of Christ, we are called to pray for those in authority and for those who serve our communities. This week, let's intentionally lift up these departments and the men and women who faithfully serve within them.
Scripture
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."— Matthew 5:9

How to Pray
Officers & StaffPray for every officer, dispatcher, administrator, and support staff member serving in Fortville and McCordsville. Ask God to give them wisdom, courage, discernment, and protection as they serve our communities.
FamiliesPray for the spouses, children, and families of law enforcement officers. Ask God to encourage them, strengthen them, and provide peace during the unique challenges that come with public service.
Wisdom & DiscernmentPray that officers would have wisdom in difficult situations and make decisions that promote safety, justice, and care for those they serve.
Protection & SafetyPray for physical, emotional, and spiritual protection over every officer as they respond to calls, investigate incidents, and serve throughout our communities.
Community RelationshipsPray for positive relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Ask God to build trust, understanding, and mutual respect throughout Fortville and McCordsville.
Those in CrisisPray for the people officers encounter each day—those experiencing emergencies, addiction, mental health struggles, family conflict, loss, or difficult circumstances. Ask God to bring help, healing, and hope to those in need.
Salvation & Spiritual GrowthPray that every officer, staff member, and family connected to these departments would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Pray for those who already follow Christ to grow in their faith and boldly live it out through their service.
