Join Us In 52 Weeks Of Prayer
Each week during our prayer time we will highlight a specific group in our community (local law enforcement, schools, hospitals, military, government leaders, foster care/DCS, farmers, missionaries, etc.) as is an intentional way for our congregation to remain prayerful, outwardly focused, and unified as we intercede for our community and beyond.
This week in our 52-Week Prayer Focus, we are lifting up one of the missionaries and mission organizations we support. We are grateful for the ways God is working not just in our community, but around the world—through people and ministries faithfully serving in His name.
This week, we are praying for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and Joe Watkins.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a campus ministry focused on reaching college students and faculty with the hope of Jesus Christ. Through Bible studies, discipleship, evangelism, leadership development, and missions, InterVarsity seeks to help students encounter Jesus and grow into lifelong followers of Him.
College campuses are incredibly influential mission fields, shaping future leaders, teachers, pastors, parents, and professionals. InterVarsity works to bring the gospel into those spaces and create communities where students can ask honest questions, build godly relationships, and grow in their faith.
We are thankful for Joe Watkins and his involvement in this ministry and for the work God is doing through InterVarsity on campuses and in students’ lives.

Reaching Students Far from God
Pray for students who feel lonely, anxious, skeptical, or far from God—that they would encounter the love and truth of Jesus through this ministry.
Student Leaders
Pray for the student leaders involved in InterVarsity—that they would grow in boldness, maturity, and leadership as they represent Christ on their campuses.
Protection & Faithfulness
Pray for spiritual protection and endurance for InterVarsity staff, volunteers, and students as they faithfully live out and share the gospel in a challenging culture.
