Join Us In 52 Weeks Of Prayer

Each week during our prayer time we will highlight a specific group in our community (local law enforcement, schools, hospitals, military, government leaders, foster care/DCS, farmers, missionaries, etc.) as is an intentional way for our congregation to remain prayerful, outwardly focused, and unified as we intercede for our community and beyond.

This week's prayer focus is on: Hamilton Southeastern Schools (HSE) — the public school district that serves nearly all of Fishers, Indiana, along with parts of Noblesville and Fortville.

This large and vibrant district shapes the lives of more than 21,000 students every day. Let’s come together to pray for the students, teachers, and leaders who influence the next generation across HSE.

  • Students: Pray for all 21,000+ students — from preschoolers to seniors — that they would grow in wisdom, compassion, and courage. Pray that they would find encouragement, belonging, and purpose through their time at HSE.
  • Teachers & Staff: Pray for the 1,200 teachers and the many support staff who invest their time, hearts, and energy into educating and mentoring students. Ask God to give them strength, patience, and renewed joy each day.
  • Superintendent & Leadership: Pray for Dr. Pat Mapes and all district leaders to lead with integrity, discernment, and compassion. Pray that decisions made at the district level would serve the best interests of students and families.
  • Schools & Principals: Pray for the principals of all 23 schools — elementary, intermediate, junior high, and high school — that they would lead with wisdom and create healthy, safe learning environments.
  • Community: Pray for unity among families, teachers, and administrators throughout Fishers, Noblesville, and Fortville. Ask God to strengthen relationships between the schools and local churches, businesses, and organizations that support them.
  • Faith & Influence: Pray that Christian teachers, staff, and students would live out their faith with humility, grace, and courage. Pray that their love for Christ would shine brightly and bring encouragement to those around them.
  • Those Hurting: Pray for students who feel unseen, lonely, or anxious — that they would find hope and encouragement. Pray for families walking through hardship to experience peace and provision.
  • Safety: Pray for God’s protection over all campuses, buses, and activities. Ask for emotional and physical safety, and for peace to fill every classroom and hallway.
  • Revival: Pray that God would stir hearts in the community — among students, families, and staff — to seek truth, hope, and transformation that can only be found in Jesus.
