Discipleship shouldn’t be a once-a-week practice or even something that feels forced. Instead, discipleship should be a natural relationship between the entire Body of Christ. At New Life, we believe that an INTERWOVEN DISCIPLESHIP experience allows us to create opportunities to learn from one another and to grow together, which is why we have several opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, to mentor, and to learn.
Our Sunday morning services may look a little different than what you are used to, and we believe that’s a good thing.
During our 8:55 service, we offer a congregational experience and classes for all ages that are created around biblical principles and understandings. Adult and youth classes focus on specific topics, books of the Bible, or people of the Bible. Our children are able to learn through games, stories, and other different activities.
During the 10:35 service we provide classes for children that are nursery age through preschool age; children in kindergarten through 3rd grade have the opportunity to worship with adults and then participate in a separate children’s service; and children that are in 4th grade and older are asked to stay in the service with their parents, which truly helps us create our INTERWOVEN experience.
We encourage you to take the time to learn and explore the message from the sermons in more depth on your own with your family, and to aid you in that process we provide you with resources that will help you dig deeper into the heart of the previous Sunday’s message.
Sunday Night Classes and Services
On Sunday nights during the school year, from 5:00-7:00 we provide a completely different discipleship opportunity. For students in 6th grade through 12th grade, we provide a youth group experience that is complete with games and a lesson. For younger kids, we have a Bible quiz time in which they will learn facts of the Bible and then compete in a friendly Bible quiz to test and improve their knowledge. We also offer an adult class from time to time that is designed to help you dig a little deeper in your faith. Our Sunday night classes all begin with a time of fellowship and dinner, which truly allows us to provide INTERWOVEN DISCIPLESHIP.
Throughout the Week
Since we believe that discipleship isn’t just a once-a-week occurrence, we have several discipleship opportunities throughout the week. If you’d like to know what is happening this week or what is coming up, then make sure you check out our calendar, newsletter, or bulletin to learn what is happening and to stay up-to-date.
