What’s up with the “u” in SavioUr?
Posted by Geoffrey on June 7th, 2009People have been asking me lately… “why do you put the “u” in Saviour when you use it at New Life? On the screen… website… whatever it may be…?”
Let me answer that question in a couple of ways…
Psalm 25:5 says, “guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long.”
I want to point out some things in the word Saviour.

Our God saves. He is “i“’s, He is yours, and He is ours.
I believe that by including the “u”, it clearly represents who God is. It is different and has a hidden message.
If you write down Savior… I ask that from now on you consider that “u”.. it makes a world of a difference. Then, when someone asks, you can tell them why.. and point out the bold points. It’s a neat story… and now when you see “SAVIOUR” on the website, the screen, in print, etc. you will understand my purpose behind that.
